Reliability & performance
MVP for 2H2022, announced in January 2023, during a period of leading incident investigation and IV improvements.
Over 10 years building, modernizing, and operating production software. During around five years at Money Forward, I have connected Ruby/Rails, platform engineering, and reliability with delivery ownership — from design and implementation to developing team capabilities.
I combine backend development with cloud engineering, distributed systems, and production reliability. My work spans hands-on implementation, integration coordination, release readiness, and enabling teams to operate their systems.
System design, microservices, multi-tenancy, APIs, and Kafka / CDC integration. Ruby on Rails, Go, Python, and React.
AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Datadog, and k6. Migration, performance analysis, capacity planning, and recovery strategies.
Understand business needs, design solutions, plan development, and commit to timelines. Coordinate developers, QA, SRE, and database teams; establish workflows, mentor engineers, and teach production operations.
OpenAI API, RAG, and LLM workflows. Apply Copilot, Claude, and Codex to planning, implementation, and PR review with organized context.
Information Technology · The University of Danang — University of Science and Technology · 2011–2019.
Certification earned: AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
Led Platform and IV workstreams: Sakura VM → DuCloud Kubernetes → AWS Service Platform, validating migration readiness and reliability after cutover. Officially joined CAM in October 2025 to build its production foundation, improve architecture, and prepare for Open Beta on September 16, 2026.
Hands-on application and platform implementation, connecting technical decisions with delivery planning, risk management, and the team's operational independence.
Previously: Senior Ruby Developer · Oct 2021–Dec 2023.
Developed Python / Flask applications, provided technical support, and created documentation and internship training plans.
Contributed to four cryptocurrency exchange projects as a developer, backend lead, and technical support engineer using Ruby on Rails, React, and blockchain services.
Led four Rails developers within a 12-person team through a Rails 2.3 → 5.1 upgrade phase, completed in around three months; trained junior engineers and developed applications / APIs.
Individual recognition and team contributions across modernization, delivery, and production operations.
MVP for 2H2022, announced in January 2023, during a period of leading incident investigation and IV improvements.
Announced in February 2025: IV migration to Service Platform, post-migration performance improvements, proactive incident response, and team mentoring.
For August 2023, announced in September 2023: separated the service, modernized CI/CD, and enabled the product team to manage and operate PDFgen independently.
For Q3 2026, announced in October 2026: infrastructure readiness, rapid response during stress testing, and team enablement for CAM's September 16, 2026 launch.
Team recognition: IV Team received Quarterly Team Culture Hero — Teamwork for Q4 2023 (September–November), announced in December 2023, recognizing collaboration across Japan, Vietnam, and SRE during my Platform leadership.
Four ways I work with clients and engineering teams. Scope and deliverables are agreed for each project.
From business requirements to architecture, development, and deployment. Consider cost and operational needs from the earliest design decisions.
Review architecture, infrastructure, and operations. Identify bottlenecks, develop a roadmap, and implement improvements to operating efficiency and cost.
Design agent-assisted customer support workflows, connect system knowledge and tools, and establish handoff to the responsible person.
Training grounded in real systems: software development, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. Combine hands-on practice with knowledge transfer.
Problems I have worked on: modernizing fintech platforms, bringing products to production, and building developer tools.
From post-POC to Open Beta: production infrastructure, architecture improvements, performance, and team operational capabilities.
Sakura → DuCloud → AWS: repeated migration rehearsals, database validation, and latency checks before cutover.
Audit intake and consulting project lifecycle workflows.
